Who says San Diego track and field events are only for students? Now in its third year, the San Diego Summer Nights Track and Field event series welcomes runners of all ages and abilities. The four-meet series will include sprint, middle distance, and long distance track races as well as hurdles, shot put, and long jump field events. The location of the events will change for each meet and are spread around San Diego County to encourage area-wide participation. The series runs bi-weekly beginning on June 6 and ends with the championship event on July 25.
Each event begins with registration at 5:00 p.m. The field events will start at 5:30 p.m. and the track events will start at 6:00 p.m. The cost is only $5 per event.
